Ich wurde vor vier Wochen in meinem Erstgespräch von Maikel hervorragend beraten. Er nahm sich sehr viel Zeit und war außerordentlich freundlich. Ich habe mich vom gesamten Team umsorgt gefühlt. Der Prozess ging zügig voran und so starte ich nun mit der Behandlung.

Ich möchte meine Enttäuschung und Unzufriedenheit über die Behandlung bei diesem Kieferorthopäden zum Ausdruck bringen.
Ich hatte das Gefühl, dass der Kieferorthopäde nur daran interessiert war, so viele Patienten wie möglich in kurzer Zeit zu behandeln, ohne auf individuelle Bedürfnisse einzugehen. Die Beratung war oberflächlich und die Erklärungen unverständlich. Ich hatte das Gefühl, dass ich als Patient nicht wirklich beteiligt war und meine Wünsche und Bedürfnisse ignoriert wurden.
Ich bin sehr enttäuscht von der Behandlung bei diesem Kieferorthopäden und kann ihn nicht empfehlen. Wenn Sie nach einem kompetenten und einfühlsamen Kieferorthopäden suchen, sollten Sie sich besser anderswo umsehen.

At first I was really happy with the team and the service. I have tried one of the most famous invisible aligner providers before and they only did a 3D scan. Here, I was first taken to X-ray properly and then a fast and comfortable 3D scan of my teeth was done. My consultant was Gülsen and she continously supported me during the whole process. I had to sign the contract to send my scan to the lab for the simulations (which was free at the other provider) but the price packages have a significant difference and the service you get here is very satisfying. The staff and the 24/7 available WhatsApp team are ready to help in multiple languages. After I had questions regarding a specific tooth, they agreed to help me and recalculated my simulations without an issue. Up until now I fully recommend the service here. But there are some points you have to consider:
- You see an estimated simulation at your first visit after your 3D scan. This is then sent to actual doctors to inspect. The doctors give their opinion and the final simulation is sent to your email only if you sign some documents (that you would have to pay up to ~790 euros even if you cancel)
- After the simulation is first received by you, you have 3 DAYS to decide to cancel. Otherwise they are sent to production WITHOUT YOUR WRITTEN CONSENT. And you will end up paying more than 700 euros, even a thousand, as they are already produced.
- the health AG, who is responsible for payments, will send you a "Mahngebühr" if you fail to initiate payment within 7 weeks.
Now, after taking these into consideration, they might be the most supportive and helpful provider out there. They even contacted the health AG for me to take back the charged extra fee.
Know that there are other, cheaper providers who wait for your confirmation and even give you free samples of your aligners to try on or send the simulations without financially binding you. But a few of them don't even have a doctor in their team, or their production quality isn't in EU Standards.
So overall I would recommend getting your orthodentic treatment here if you can spend a bit more (there are installment plans available) and if you want to have a good treatment process and a supportive customer service. I will update here once I have my results.
Update: smilike has helped me a lot to get aligned teeth, but it's still not perfect. Therefore they set me up (included in the initial price) for a refinement kit but did not send me any simulation for that as promised. The app says I have 8 packages on total, but from the box only 6 pairs came out. They have changed the aligner providers which is worth to mention, and this one has quite a lot of errors such as missing pairs or double upper aligners within one package. However the office is not reachable at all. Their coworkers' WA numbers and regular phones are deleted, the reception never answers calls, and when I finally found the correct website (it's not smilike.me, Germany is not visible there FYI) and booked an appointment, THEY ARE CLOSED

Mein Zahnarzt hat mir die Praxis empfohlen, um mich zur Notwendigkeit einer kieferorthopädischen Behandlung beraten zu lassen. Ich musste nicht lange auf einen Termin warten und am Ende wurde mir davon abgeraten, jetzt schon mit der Behandlung zu beginnen. Hier steht definitiv der Patient im Mittelpunkt.

At the end of my first treatment, I was shocked to learn ...
At the end of my first treatment, I was shocked to learn that in my package, there were no retainers. At that time, what I meant was just a follow up plastic retainer and not the fixed metal ones but somehow the doctor/dentist misunderstood.
That made me really upset and I had written a bad review here in order to get some attention as the staffs were different each time I went there ( Similar experience with the rest ). It was later resolved as I was told that they would give me fixed retainers later on.
Things spiral into another direction as my personal dentist told me not to go for the fix retainers as I have more pressing issues such as multiple root canals, crowning, and pulling wisdom teeth to resolve. She was actually surprised I even went for this treatment in the first place as normally, any clinic would have rejected me due to my conditions. Slightly a year + later, I finally completed my other treatment and returned to the clinic.
To my surprised, Dr Widu clarified that the retainers i asked for was actually all along in my package. This came as a surprise to me as I could have ended by treatment then.. (A classic case of miscommunication).
Since i never had retainers and I was using my last set of invisalign, my teeth started misaligning again. However, Dr. Widu and her team were professional enough to provide me with solutions and I will undergo a new treatment.

Einfach eine andere Art von Praxis. Man bemerkt sofort die Kompetenz von Dr. Widu und seinem Team. Die Beratung ist ausführlich. Man nimmt sich Zeit um auf alle Fragen einzugehen.
And you can geht your visits in english too, no problem.
Für eine kieferorthopädische Behandlung mit unsichtbaren Schienen z. B Invisalign kann ich diese Praxis auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Dr. Widu und sein Team haben meinem Sohn davor abgeraten sich 4 Zähne ziehen zu lassen, obwohl eine andere Kieferorthopädin es empfohlen hatte. Ein super Ergebnis!!!
